drupa success exceed all expectations

THETA SYSTEM is upbeat about its performance at the DRUPA 2008.
Sustainability in the printing industry was in the focus of the drupa.
The business objectives of cost reduction and increase in productivity
can be achieved with a more environmentally friendly and resource conservating production.
In this context, THETA SYSTEM presented also spectraCon for Spectral Inline Color Control,
dualView for innovative Web Inspection with two CCD cameras and regiCon for Color Register Control.
The feedback of the customers turned out to be extremely positive, because with these systems the
business objectives, mentioned before, can be achieved. |

THETA SYSTEM will develop and manufacture a space-proof
CCD camera system for multispectral image capturing
within the cooperation with the University of
Stuttgart's Institute of Space Systems.
The system will be integrated in the satellite "Flying Laptop".

THETA SYSTEM has been developing, producing,
and integrating in the field of digital image
processing for more than 20 years. Two major product
categories were established. On the one hand the
printing control division with our PCS, short hand
for Printing Control Systems and on the other hand
the division of digital CCD camera systems. The
major benefit for our customers is that all systems
are produced and developed in-house what implicates
the positive advantage that technology of one
category can easily be transferred to the other.
The printing control system PCS is the
approved multifunctional system for printing control
in all fields* of the printing industry. A
significant increase of the productivity and a
decrease of the production process costs are
achieved by a very high level of automation in
connection with great ease of use.
Now, defects and quality deviations can easily be
detected by the printer who immediately can correct
the settings. It is also very simple to reproduce
already saved process parameters for repeated
printing jobs. This permits an enormous cost and
time saving.
Our brand new dualView system is a web viewing
system based on digital progressive scan CCD cameras
with 4 megapixel UXGA resolution und 12-bit dynamic!
This high resolution offers very high image
sharpness as well as a very high contrast. Special
high resolution lenses permit excellent detail
resolutions without any distortion. Furthermore PCS
is a very compact system for the integration even in
difficult installation situations.

The Scientific Imaging System SIS
is a high sensitive camera system which is optimized
for a very low noise and dark current by a special
signal processing and 14/16-bit digitalization. As a
result of our high flexibility we offer you a wide
spectrum of CCD sensors, among other things also
EMCCD sensors for single photon detection. The use
of any available image intensifier allows photon
detection into nano lux ranges and integration times
into nano seconds ranges.
